


Pamela Suzette Grier, b. 1949, american actress.
This strong, independent mature female is a beautiful genetic map of a father
(half white/black) and a mother (with Indian and Asian blood). She is tall (173
cm) with a eagle-minded nose, big eyes, high cheekbones and - may I say -
legendaric measures!
Her scenic
carriere started in 1970. Connoisseurs will remember her blaxplotaition period
in the 70ties. After a scenic down in the 80ties and a total remmission from a
cancer disease she returned with bravour in the 90ties. Among others her leading
part in "Jackie Brown" visualized her more feminine facettes in a more outright
and mature "hard copy".
She combined soft feminity and almost
schulptured packing and extreme sensual signals in varied speed. But of course
there are more smart actresses, but - in a subjective view - she must have a
chair in this context. Year 1949 is something special, however she contributes
so very much. Do face my favourite from her youth above.

Hendes fantastiske "legering" af lige dele hvid og sort
fra faderen samt indiansk og asiatisk fra moderen er et sjældent feminin
genetisk landkort. Resultatet blev en høj, slank, mulat med sort ørnenæse, store
øjne, høje kindben og legendariske kropsmål.
Hendes scenekarriere
begyndte i 1970. Kendere vil erindre bl.a. hendes blaxploitation periode i
70erne. - Hendes enestående fysik i kombination med en stærk og selvstændig
performance var baggrunden for hendes store successer i 70ernes film. The Big Doll House (1971), The Big
Bird Cage(1972), Black Mama, White Mama(1972) alle WIP (=Woman in Prison) film.
Herefter fulgte blaxpoloitaition filmene Coffy (1973), Foxy Brown (1974), Sheba,
Baby (1975) og Friday Foster ( 1975).
Efter et scenisk dyk i 80erne og kamp og
total helbredelse af en alvorlig cancersygdom vendte hun stærkt tilbage i
90erne. Bl.a. hovedrollen i Tarantino-filmen "Jackie Brown" illustrerer hendes
mange feminine facetter i en mere moden og endnu dejligere udgave. Hun forlener
og mestrer kontant, blød feminitet i en behagelig solbrændt og nærmest
skulpturel emballage samt en ekstrem sensuel signalering i forskellige
temposkift.
Der findes sikkert mange dygtigere skuespillerinder, men -
erkendt subjektivt - må hun med. Årgang 1949 er noget særligt! Hun er aldeles
bedårende !
