Foto er taget en hverdag i januar 1990. Billedet
viser et snelandskab i Nordmarka, nord for Oslo by. Det er et enestående
naturområde på alle tider af året.
Jeg husker sceneriet som igår. Kun lyden
af skoene mod sneen var hørbart. Stemningen matcher en af mine
yndlingskomponister Griegs musik.
Staying in the snow at the great naturearea outside
Oslo a January day in 1990 is still burnmarked my memory. - It was silent, only
the sound of your shoes against the snow. It was rather cold, no one was present
and I could "hear the silence!"
The famous Norwegian composer Grieg has
catched the mood in his music among other symbolics.

Oslo-fjorden stopper næsten ved trapperne til Oslo
rådhus. Det er ikke just nogen stor havn. Området i den østlige del rummer
færgeterminalen ved Vippetangen, hvor "Danmarks-båden" og Stena-Lines
mammut-færger lægger til kaj.
Frognerkilen i den vestlige del rummer marina
samt anløb for de store Color-line færger til bl.a. Tyskland. På billederne i
pp-showet ses også det norske kongeskib.
The innerfjord of Oslo stops almost at the start of
the Town Hall. Oslo isn´t a very large harbor. The eastern area (Vippetangen) is
mostly for the Stena-line ferries as well as the connection to Copenhagen (DFDS
Seaways).
The ferries to Germany (Color Line)are disembark in the western
part (Frognerkilen), from where one can spot a certain marina as well. - On the
pp-show above left you can see the Royal ship as well.
