Nederland - (16,1 mio indb.) anses for verdens
tættest befolkede land. Landet er fladt med en meget blandet (multietnisk)
befolkning. Den kaukasiske nederlandske befolkning opleves livsduelig, liberal,
tolerant, resultatsøgende, international orienteret med en vis humor. Den
nederlandske mentalitet minder noget om den skandinaviske iblandet noget britisk
og tysk. Sproget er et mix af især tysk, engelsk og fransk. De forskellige
(farvede) minoriteter repræsenterer ret forskellige mentaliteter, religioner og
traditioner.
Skæbnen har gjort, at jeg har mødt såvel den ostindiske som
den caribiske befolkning i NL. Jeg har mærket denne mini-globalisering siden
1970erne. Mit første ægteskab var med en hollandsk kvinde fra Asien. - På flere
tidspunkter (70erne og 90erne) overvejede jeg kraftigt at immigrere til
Holland/Nederlandene. Intution og skæbne i forening afgjorde til sidst, at jeg
ikke valgte denne løsning, men det var ganske tæt på!
The
Netherlands - (16,1 mio inhabt.) consider to have the highest density of
population in the world. The country is flat with a extremely mixed multiethnic
population. The caucasian population experience quite vital, liberal, tolerant,
resultmaking, international minded with a certain sense of humour. . The
national character reminds in a mix of the german and the british. The language
is a mixture of German, English and French. The different ethnic coloured people
represent quite various mentalities, religions and traditions. The mixture of
population all together form a kind of mini Canada.
I have met people
from the former colonies in Asia and Caribian. By fact I have been married with
a woman from Dutch-Asian woman. I have stayed periodically in NL in the 70ties
and 90ties. I was close to settle down some times, however my intuition and the
faith turned my way at the end.

Canalarea of central Utrecht. A city, in which I
have crossed and stayed so may times.
Cityplan of Leerdam (ab. 21.000 inhabt.). The nice
and wealthy city is situated just in the middle of the Netherlands. I shall
recall this city as many brilliant moments of sanctuary. In moments I consider
hard time to settle down, however events and intuition turned me away.
