Marlene Dietrich, b. 1901- d. 1992, german actress, entertainer and singer. Since I enjoyed her at Tivolis concerthall late 60ties I have followed, read and watch spots with this very special entertainer. Her christianname is like a caress, her surname is like a whiplash. Her performance has delighted mostly men, under WW2 as well. Her scenic performances were a mixture of differenct quality , however her part in the movie Witness for the Prosecution is among the very best. Her privatlife was in the public eye for years. Her husband Rudolf Sieber and the daughter Maria Riva (who launched certain celebraties ab. her mother). Her claimed sexuality gave offence to many, but her charisma, humour, self-irony, pitch, masterminded skills for performance, loyality towards friends and german-minded feminity will never be forgotten. A sensual and cosmopolitical female of the very rare selection.
Marlene Dietrichs påståede seksuelle orientering forargede mange, men hendes karisma, humor, selvironi, toneleje, mesterlige evner for iscenesættelse, loyalitet overfor venner samt germanske feminitet glemmes aldrig.
