Madurodam - Nederlandene - er et miniunivers af det
hollandske samfund. Det land, som jeg i mit voksne liv har opholdt mig mest i
efter Danmark. Jeg har set stort set alle dele af det driftige, tætte og
multikulturelle samfund. Besøg hos såvel "hvide" hollændere som indvandrere fra
såvel de tidligere ostindiske kolonier og de vestindiske kolonier ( inkl.
Surinam) har bidraget meget til mit erfaringspotentiale. Den tættest befolkede
population i Europa (15,3 mio indb. på 42.000 km2) udgør en mangfoldighed af
raceblanding, bygningsværker, trossamfund, meningsdannelser, driftighed, havne-
og kaj liv, restaurant-, cafe- og natteliv. Madurodam er en blanding af
Amsterdams kanaler, Rotterdams havn (verdens største), Eindhoven (Philips) samt
flere typer af bysamfund, møller og skibe.

Madurodam - The Netherlands - is a mini-universe of
the dutch society. is informative about that country, which I have been staying
most of my life next to Denmark. I have seen close to all parts of this
enterprising, close and multicultural society. Visiting among "caucasian" dutch,
immigrants from Asia and West India ( = Surinam and the Dutch Antilles) have all
together contribute to my knowledge about this nation. The closest population in
Europe (15,3 mio indb.at 42.000 km2) makes up a diversity of race-mixture,
buildings, religious communities, opions, enterprising, port and dock-life,
restaurant, café and nightlife. Madurodam is a mixture of the street of
Amsterdam, the harbour of Rotterdam (the largest in the world), Eindhoven
(Philips) together with all types of societies.
