Valget af 4 bedste internationale slotte var et
større opgave. Jeg har set en del af disse i Europa, der jo takket været de
mange kongedømmer og rige historie er fyldt med slotte i forskellige
variationer.
De mere borg-lignende slotte var to åbenbare: Edinburg
Castle og Windsor Castle. Sidstnævnte er verdens største beboede slot, der er
ganske imponerende.
Kongeslottet i Madrid er mit seneste indtryk.
Imponerende både inden- som udenfor. De to smukke schloss Belvedere og
Schönbrunn i Wien er også en nydelse, hvor Schönbrunn blev valgt.
Endelig det flotteste af dem alle. Solkongens fantastiske slot i
Versailles udenfor Paris. - Jeg har nydt alle fire slotte, der blev det endelige
valg.

Best International Castles - what a challenge. I have only visited several in
Europe so far. That brings me to my final choice.
Windsor Castle is the
largest, habituated castle in the world. Quite impressive, just as a runners up
came Edinburgh Castle, quite similar to W.C.
On the European continent
there are many see worthy castles thanks to kingdoms and nobilities in
centuries. My choice of the Royal Castle in Madrid is based on my visit in Jan.

In Vienna the visitor will find
schloss Belvedere and Schönbrunn, both seeworthy. I have chosen Schönbrunn.
Finally Versailles - the magnificent and most beautiful of them all -
done by the King of Sun Louis XIII - a
masterpiece.
