Dette er ikke en
turistguide, men nogle billedindtryk fra mit besøg i området. Jeg har besøgt
dette skønne område på alle tider af året og døgnet. Byen kaldes korrekt for
Sundets perle. Den har genvundet en del af sin gamle dynamik og rigdom, dog
savnes det stolte Helsingør Skibsværft.
Der er nu langt mellem besøgene.
Alligevel vil Helsingør altid have en hel speciel plads i mit
hjerte.
This
is not a complete tourist guide, however just some visual
impressions from my visits over time to this pretty and interesting
area.
Elsinore is known as the Pearl of the Sound (= Oeresund). Moreover
the city is world-famous for Hamlet from
William Shakespeare, performed on the beautiful castle Kronborg. In
the cellars - according to the legend - Holger Danske is sitting.
The
commutting ferries to Sweden, the fresh air, the beautiful beaches at Hornbaek
(in the NorthWest of the city), the magnificant old town, the maritime
acitivities and a new richdom among the citiziens transform this city to
something very special.Only the old shipyard is missing.
I have been in
this city around the clock and each part of the season for so many years since
1956. Although I do not visit Elsinore so much any longer, it remains as a very
dear spot in my heart longlife.
