EXPO
2000 - Hannover - Tyskland - En ambition om at se en verdensudstilling blev
imødekommet i august 2000. Kun fraværet af USA gjorde denne verdensudstilling
til en lille skuffelse. Ellers var det nøjagtig den kæmpe oplevelse, som jeg
havde forventet. Hvis man interesserer sig for geopolitik og verden på flere
vinkler, er en verdensudstilling et særdeles inspirativt forum.
EXPO
2000 - Hanover - Germany - An ambition about joining a World EXPO was fulfilled
in August 2000. Only the abscence of USA was a disappointment. The rest was a
mega-experience for me. My great interest in geo-politics was fulfilled more
than one times that days in the German fair-city. Some stands were of course
more impressive than others. The design was more than different, but all
together great - so very great.
One could buy a passport and receive a stamp
around the different stands of countries. For me all this stamps represent a
life-long dear memory of one of the highlights.
Verdensudstillingen i Nagoya (Japan) 2005 bliver
afløst af EXPO 2010 i Shanghai. Den har jeg planlagt at ville se samtidig med
den fantastiske by, som altid har draget mig som top-1 i Asien.
The
World Exhibition in Nagoya, Japan 2005 will be replaced by the next in Shanghai
- 2010. That exhibition is on my travel-list, as Shanghai always has kept the
leading-seat of Asian metropoles for me. I surely look forward to
this!!!!
