Abba Eban, f. 1915 - d. 2002 - Israelian diplomat,
several ministerial offices. He established and formed the Israeli diplomatic

Member of Knesset. As Minister of Foreign Affairs, he sought to consolidate
Israel’s relations with the United States and secure association with the
European Economic Community. Before and after the Six-Day War, he led Israel in
its political struggle in the UN.
It was always a delightful intelectual
experience to listen to his outstanding retoric ability, with so much wisdom ,
knowledge , and a great sense of humour. It was said that his English language
was so outstandingly good that when he made a speech in the U.N., the Americans
had to use dictionaries in order to understand him... above all he was a symbol
of honesty , integrity and modesty. He published many books , 2 autobiographies
, books about zionisim , zionism and the arab world , and judaism. He spoke
fluently 10 languages. Most be regarded as one of the greatest statesmen of
humanity ever. One could add: "The very best foreign minister of them
all...!"
